Camping kitchen
The practical awning kitchen, the small folding kitchen or the functional camping kitchen block.
-cooking and storage space for mobile holidays!
This is how it works - the mobile holiday kitchen!

The most popular features of the camping kitchen are the kitchen block, with a worktop for the cooker, a windbreak for the camping gas cooker and a fabric storage cupboard underneath. The comfortable models also have a folding sink under the worktop next to the cooker.

Camping kitchens with a quick-fold system are particularly convenient. They can be set up quickly and easily in just a few steps.

If you are planning a holiday in a tent, caravan, motorhome or camper van and would like to stay at the campsite for several days or weeks, you cannot do without a camping kitchen. If you don't want to go out to eat every day, you need a camping kitchen that allows you to cook delicious meals.

Cooking with a gas cooker
A camping kitchen usually works with gas. You can also opt for a hob that works with electric power. In this case, however, you must be aware that the fuse protection at campsites is usually quite low (5-10 amps). In addition, electricity at campsites is often more expensive than at home.
A camping kitchen with a gas cooker should therefore be your first choice.

This variant is used far more often than the one with an electric cooker. You need a propane bottle with the appropriate gas hose and a suitable pressure regulator. Cooking is done over an open flame. The costs amount to buying or renting a gas bottle and refilling the propane. You also have the advantage that you can cook completely independently of electricity. It is not possible to quickly heat up soup or make a coffee on the road with an electricity-powered camping kitchen.

Kitchen equipment in caravans, motorhomes and camping buses can vary
In a motorhome, camper van or caravan, you usually have an integrated camping kitchen. This always consists of a combination of cooker, sink and cupboards in which you can store crockery, pots and cutlery. A refrigerator is also included in the equipment of a camping kitchen. It is integrated into the row of cupboards in motorhomes and caravans. It can be operated with electricity, but also with gas. During the journey, it is charged from the car battery in motorhomes, campers, camping buses and caravans. Many refrigerators are equipped with a small freezer compartment.

Other features of a modern camping kitchen can be found in modern caravans and motorhomes. These often also offer an integrated microwave or oven. Both are electrically operated. A solar power system with voltage converter installed on the motorhome, camper van or caravan can quickly pay for itself here and offers independence. In addition, a small separate refrigerator and freezer box can also be located in the camping kitchen. This is very advantageous if you want to refrigerate ice cream, frozen meals or meat.

The tent kitchen for the awning is easy to transport
If you are travelling with a tent, a camping kitchen is also indispensable for a longer holiday. However, the equipment for the camping kitchen is much simpler. You can buy a cooker that works with gas or electricity and a foldable cabinet called a camping kitchen. The camping kitchen may also have an integrated sink.

The camping kitchen offers storage space for crockery, cutlery, pots and supplies. A water tap can be integrated into the camping kitchen, e.g. with a canister water system. Or you can collect the dishes in the washing-up tub and then go and do the dishes. When equipping your camping kitchen for the tent, you can choose between a cooker with one, two or three burners. The cupboards are also available in different sizes. If you want to save weight, opt for a gas cooker (cartridge cooker), which uses a small handy disposable gas cylinder (gas cartridge) instead of a large propane cylinder.
Professionals, long-term campers and large families, however, opt for a high-quality 2 or 3-burner gas cooker with gas bottle.

Camping kitchen with quick assembly system

Camping kitchens are available for folding and unfolding. It is up to the camper to decide which camping kitchen to choose. Both camping kitchens are quick to set up. However, the folding camping kitchen is particularly quick. It is simply taken out of the transport bag and a few folding movements create a stable camping kitchen. The plug-in version is usually a little cheaper and can be set up just as reliably in a few easy steps after all the parts have been plugged together. Both versions of the camping kitchen create additional storage space and work surface.

An awning kitchen can be extended at will
The camping kitchen can be extended as required with additional cupboards, such as a storage cupboard, cooker cupboard and sink cupboard. So you can put together your own individual camping kitchen with numerous different camping furniture. Whether for one person alone or for the extended family, there is a very large selection of camping kitchens in the Reimo camping accessories shop.
