Cover Profiles, Window Frames, Window Interior Trim and Inner Frames for Caravan Windows and Camper Windows
Window interior trim and cover profile for your top hung window, pop up window and sliding windows
Many caravan window manufacturers have standardised window cover profiles in their range.
However, they usually do not fit because they are made for standard wall thickness of 25-30 mm.
Generally a wooden frame is installed on the inside of the autobody.
In Seitz windows, the outer frame and the window inner frame are then clamped to the wooden frame. For other manufacturers combination blinds can be screwed from the inside to the wooden frame.
Mostly, a satisfactoy appearance is only achieved in self-made conversion vans if the connection between window and side trim is covered with a matching cover profile.
The largest cover profiles are matched to a wall thickness of 80 mm.
They can be shortened to the right size by simply using a pair of scissors.
