What are the benefits of an anti-rolling trailer hitch, what is the difference to a "normal" caravan hitch?
An anti-roll coupling is basically constructed in the same way as a normal trailer coupling. The only basic difference is that the coupling is equipped with a damper (spring-loaded friction linings). This damper or brake lining ensures that rocking is prevented for as long as possible. Incorrect loading also has less of an effect on the handling of your caravan.
Grease the anti-rolling clutches?
NO, under no circumstances grease the anti-rolling clutch! In contrast to the normal clutch (where greasing is perfectly OK), the ASK must never come into contact with grease. The effect of the ASK is based on the friction linings (similar to the brake linings), the grease prevents the desired friction and the safety of your caravan is greatly impaired.
