The wide, crowned wheel (230x80 mm) with a modern design ensures optimum maneuverability. On hard surfaces, it provides a small footprint, while on soft surfaces, it provides a larger footprint to prevent sinking.
The crank of the jockey wheel is smooth-running and equipped with a built-in thrust bearing that facilitates operation. The ergonomically designed crank is also removable to save space and simplify handling. The wheel itself can also be removed when not needed.
The AL-KO jockey wheel features high-quality corrosion protection. It is hot-dip galvanized, which provides a high coating thickness. Even with height adjustments above the clamping threshold, the abrasion of the zinc coating is not critical, so that the support wheel remains protected from rust for a long time.
