These sine wave inverters operate with 1,700 watts of continuous power and are designed to operate even large consumers on board. In order not to disturb your night's rest, however, these are not only thermo-regulated, but also variable in their speed. Despite their compact size, the devices can be overloaded and can also deliver quite a bit more power for a short time.
The MT 1700 SI-N also has a detection function for shore power, a so-called mains switchover. The advantage of this switchover is that all existing sockets on board can continue to be used. If there is power from outside (campsite/parking site), the inverter switches the incoming outside power through to the sockets and switches itself off. If one is on the way and no shore power in sight, the MT 1700 SI-N again takes over the supply.
The control panel is removable and acts as a remote monitor/controller. While the inverter is on duty near the on-board battery, monitoring is thus possible from any point on board. Connection cable with ring lugs for easy connection to the on-board battery (35 mm2; 1.2 m) we supply of course.
