The HDS 166 antenna set for manual satellite reception is an excellent alternative to the fully automatic, fixed rotary unit. The BAS 66 flat antenna is very well suited for setting and satellite search using the smartphone and a compass app (depending on the smartphone and operating system, such an app is already installed)
delivery scope: Flat antenna, satellite aluminium tripod, adapter joint, 15 m coaxial cable and carrying bag

In 3 simple steps the antenna is set up:
Check the settings in the enclosed azimuth/elevation table
Start the compass app, place the smartphone on the flat antenna and adjust the elevation of the antenna
Satellite position (e.g.B. Astra 19.2° E in the Munich area = 169.80°) with spirit level app and turn the antenna in this direction.
