More information about your V3000 Reimo VW T5 & T6 sleeper bench for your campervan conversion
You can move the V3000 seat in the vehicle or remove it in a few easy steps. In this way you can turn your camper back into a practical transporter.
The ergonomic shape of the upholstery provides your bench with a high level of seating comfort. Your rear guests sit safely and comfortably in the pleasant seat shells for short and long journeys.
Speaking of safety, the V3000 sleeping bench has a TÜV-tested safety concept in accordance with ECE 14 & ECE 17 and, depending on the type of vehicle, applies for motorhome approval (N1) and car approval (M1). The three-point safety belts have been integrated into the backrest of the V3000 sleep bench and are of course equipped ex works with Isofix attachment points for child seats.
Converting the sleeping bench into a bed is very easy. The headrests are fully retractable and do not need to be removed. Your sleeping surface is created by the back of the backrest and the turned seat cushion, which promises you deep sleep on a flat surface. Seat recesses, belt buckles and other unevenness that disturbs sleep are on the outside in this ingenious design.
You can lock the V3000 sleeper bench T5 Transporter in various positions in the vehicle. This gives you a huge and variable living and luggage space.
This construction is particularly successful if you have small children, for example. The bench does not have to be placed in the free space at the back, you can push the bench far forward. This means that you can intervene with the little ones directly from the passenger seat if necessary. Of course, with this bench seat position, you can expand the storage volume of your VW T5 or T6 considerably. *
The rear upholstery of your sleeping bench can simply be swung upwards, so even bulky goods find their place in the boot. The front panel, located at the lower part of your sleeping bench, can be easily removed. A practical through-loading option makes it much easier to transport skis or similar long items, for example. The optional drawer, which you can order, keeps your VW bus tidy and can be mounted under the bench instead of the front panel. Here everything important finds its place and is always at hand.
Can I install such a V3000 sleeper bench myself?
The demands made on vehicles have increased considerably in recent years. VW buses now drive just as fast as passenger cars. This means that when braking, your bench and the corresponding mounting must be able to withstand extremely high tractive forces. To ensure that the rails are properly fastened in the vehicle and can withstand even heavy braking, installation must be carried out by a Reimo installation partner.
