Awnings for vans, panel vans and minicampers
In many smaller vehicles, such as minicampers, vans and panel vans, only one roof awning often fits on the vehicle. For relaxed entry and exit, the sliding doors are often so high that the attached T5 awning would hang low in the entry area. Therefore, the roof awning is often the best solution for panel vans.
Here we would like to introduce you to the different manufacturers and their van awnings. This may make it easier for you to retrofit your vehicle with the right awning.
Awnings for Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Jumper
The Fiat Ducato and the identically constructed Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Jumper are probably the most frequently used vehicles for inexpensive van conversions. If you want to fit a Ducato awning,
you first need the right dimensions for your Boxer, Jumper or Ducato awning.
- Vehicle length 496 cm - short wheelbase (300 cm) - height H2 (approx. 252 cm), L1 / H2: suitable awning widths: 290 cm or 300 cm
- Vehicle length 541 cm - medium wheelbase (345 cm) - height H2 (approx. 252 cm), L2 / H2: suitable awning widths 320 cm or 325 cm
- Vehicle length 599 cm - long wheelbase (403 cm) - height H2 (approx. 252 cm), L4 / H2: matching awning widths 370 cm or 375 cm
- Vehicle length 636 cm - long wheelbase (400 cm) large overhang - height H2 (approx. 252 cm), L5 / H2: suitable awning widths 400 cm
- Vehicle length 636 cm - long wheelbase (400 cm) large overhang - height H3 (approx. 276 cm), L5 / H3: also 400 cm, but only the F80s awning from Fiamma fits here (as of 2019).
The Fiamma F80 s for Ducato, Boxer and Jumper
The Fiamma F80 s is ideal for Ducato, Boxer, Jumper. The F80 s is equipped with aluminium end caps and a front keder profile. With the F80 s, the matching adapter, sealing tape and adhesive must always be ordered separately.

Awning for FIAT DUCATO: Perfect Roof 2000
Perfect Roof 2000 is a lightweight awning for Fiat Ducato. The Perfect Roof 2000 is an awning for roof mounting on the Fiat Ducato panel van. For short wheelbase you have to order adapters and accessories separately. All longer Dometic Ducato awnings available are supplied including adapters, sealing foam and adjusted crank length if necessary.

Robust awning for Ducato roof mounting: Perfect Roof 2500.
The Perfect Roof 2500 fits vehicles from 4.5 m in length. This robust Ducato awning features a smooth-running gear with crank and a long extension length.

The Thule 6300 comes as an awning set for the Ducato with widths between 300 cm and 450 cm. For the Ducato short wheelbase, the adapter set and sealing tape must be ordered separately. For the other lengths, we offer a VAN set with everything needed except the adhesive.

Awnings for VW Bus, Ford Transit, Opel Vivaro, Citroën SpaceTourer, Mercedes Vito and Viano can be supplied in many equipment variants. For the current VW Bus as well as for T6 or T5 awnings, the Citroën SpaceTourer, Ford Transit and other common vehicles, the awning and the matching adapter are often available as a set. For other vehicles and mounting options, you must use special adapters.
Exclusively for the Reimo Multirail: The Thule Omnistor 4900 van awning for VW T5/T6.
Specially developed for the Reimo Multirail, the Thule 4900 with the special adapter is fitted and removed very quickly and easily.
The set includes all adapters, crank and sealing rubber. Anthracite housing colour with Mystic Grey fabric colour.
Width 260 / 300 cm with extension 200 / 250 cm. There is also a complete set with matching Multirail and associated end pieces.
The bus awning - Thule 4900 with adapter for Custom, SpaceTourer and VW T5 and T6
The Thule 4900 bus awning is available to fit Custom, SpaceTourer and VW T5 and T6. A suitable adapter is supplied for the camping buses without keder rail or Multirail. However, in this body version, the Thule 4900 is only easily removable on the SpaceTourer. However, it is permanently mounted on the Ford Custom and the VW T6 and T5 awnings. Available widths of the Thule Omnistor 4900 bus awning: 260 and 300 cm.
The Thule 5102 the VW awning for Transporter or Multivan T5 and T6.
The Thule 5102 is perfect for the VW T5 and T6 Mulitvan or the VW Transporter (from 2003) with a flat roof and a C-rail on the roof. This rail can also be retrofitted and must be obtained from your VW dealer. The Thule Omnistor 5102 is available in the fabric colour Mystic Grey and the housing colours Anthracite and Light Grey. Length 260 cm
Thule Omnistor 2000 - very light awning for mounting on the keder rail or adapter.
The Thule Omnistor 2000 is quick and easy to stow thanks to an automatic roll-up system. The 2000 from Thule is suitable for many light and compact vehicles and vans. This roof awning is attached with the matching, vehicle-specific adapter. Fabric colour Mystic Grey, housing White.

Wall awning with many possibilities, the compact Fiamma F45 s
The F45 is designed for wall mounting. The aluminium housing of the F45 s is equipped with aluminium end caps and 2 keder rails. The automatic gearbox is operated by a crank handle, the 12 V motor is available as an option for retrofitting. Many vehicle-specific adapters for a wide range of panel vans are available for the F45 s.
