Tailgate awnings are available in three different types. The rear tent Instant for VW buses like T4. T5, T6 is stowed in the rear flap. Closed with a flap and if necessary simply let out at the bottom. In this way it complies with the strict French regulations that a rear tent in public parking spaces must not protrude beyond the contour of the opened rear flap. Thanks to this type of fastening, rear tents such as the Instant need very little storage space, weigh hardly anything and are the ideal companion for an active bus holiday.
The rear tent Vertic Vertic for Caddy, Kanggoo and other minicampers is similar in dimensions, but it is attached with straps under the rear flap. The built-in window film in the upper part of the rear flap tent coincides with the rear window and ensures optimum lighting conditions. Velcro fastenings seal the gaps between the tent and the tailgate so well that the rear tent can withstand even bad weather conditions.
Driveaway tailgate awning, the universal rear tents for individual use
Drive away tailgate awnings are a practical living space extension for your van or mini camper. The universal tailgate tents always fit, whether for your off-road vehicle, SUV, minicamper or van. The rear tent Primus for VW from Herzog is also simply put over the rear flap of your T5, T6, T4. Fiamma rear awnings with a sunroof, such as the Fiamma Rear Door or Cava Ducato 2 sunroof, can be fitted over the rear flap or the rear doors of the vehicle. All of these tents are very easy to assemble and significantly increase the space available in your van, motorhome or minicamper.
